My name is Austin, and I am a graphic designer and illustrator living in Chicago, Illinois. In December of 2016, I graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a Concentration in Graphic Design.

Over the course of my studies, I have found myself attracted to type design, illustration, and logo-making, drawing inspiration from creatives such as Aaron Draplin, Jenna Blazevich, Joe Duffy, Robert Generette III, and Mark Riddick.
Other areas of graphic design that I am interested in include its evolution throughout history, its breadth in different languages to create diverse forms of expression, and its effectiveness in political and social activism.

In addition to graphic design, I enjoy exercising my creative abilities in many other ways, including skateboarding around town, printmaking, and songwriting. With lots of challenging creative interests, I find joy in the way they overlap and inform each other.
